Modern Farmhouse Kitchen Remodel

A Mix of Bright + Warm Elements

In this modern farmhouse kitchen remodel, we transformed the space with a new layout featuring a combination of wood and white cabinets. The centerpiece of the design is the large island that provides ample workspace and seating for gatherings. To accentuate the modern farmhouse aesthetic, matte black fixtures and hardware were incorporated throughout the kitchen, adding a nice contrast to the warm wood tones and crisp white finishes. This remodel strikes a perfect balance between contemporary style and rustic charm, creating a welcoming and functional space for everyday living. Design Details

Cambria Quartz Countertops

In an effort to keep the kitchen bright and airy, we wanted to do a lighter quartz countertop with a subtle pattern and touch of warmth. We chose the Everleigh design by Cambria to compliment the white and wood cabinets.

Beveled Picket Backsplash Tile

My clients wanted a neutral-colored backsplash, but still wanted it to make a statement. We found this beautiful beveled picket fence styled backsplash tile at Brighter Homes Store in Redwood Falls, MN. We paired it with a dark gray grout to really make the pattern pop! The bevel adds a little texture and reflects the light in a fun way.

Medium Wood Toned Flooring

Another find at Brighter Homes Store, we went with a TuffCore WPC plank in a Dark Brown Oak color for the flooring.

Stained + Painted Cabinets

Clear Creek Cabinetry expertly built and installed the stunning cabinets in the kitchen. A combination of clear maple wood cabinets (with no knots), alongside painted cabinets in Benjamin Moore’s Chantilly Lace were chosen to strike a perfect balance of cozy yet airy.
